Hello from the Cairngorms National Park

Hi everyone, I’m Emma and I’m not quite a virtual assistant…

I set up a Coworking space in the Scottish Highlands in January and then closed it again in March with all the covid stuff. It’s always been on the cards to supplement the office space with virtual assistant and virtual office services so that’s where my research is taking me during lockdown.

I have many years of experience in various industries- third sector, new media and events management, programming, proof reading, typing, minute taking… and whatever else goes with “office work”.

Great to be part of a group sharing experiences and examples!

Hi Emma -

How very very difficult to have got it open and then have Covid hit! Really feel for you!

Hopefully you were able to claim some of the government help on business premises though? And I believe there is more help coming for Highlands/Islands because they will be locked down longer than England/Wales.

I’m just wondering if perhaps you could have elements of the coworking in your VA business? E.g. hosting online “Get it done” sessions or a weekly networking event online?
